• Read the information sheet Overview of the private sector provisions (PDF, 0.06MB)  of the Privacy Act 1988.
• Read the Australian Guidelines for Electronic Commerce  to help you understand your online privacy obligations.
• Read the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner's Business Guidelines to the National Privacy Principles  and find out how to opt-in to Privacy Act coverage .
• Complete the Privacy Checklist for Small Business .
