Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading 

The Office of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading provides advice and information to the public and business operators on matters affecting the interests of consumers. The office also investigates potential breaches of legislation, provides enforcement of product safety standards, administers the Weights and Measures Act 1934 and the Classification of Publications Act 1984.
