The Economic Development Directorate replaces the Department of Land and Property Services and has absorbed a number of new functions including ACT Tourism, ACT Gambling & Racing, Business & Industry Development, Sport & Recreation, Special Events, Territory Venues & Events, Exhibition Park in Canberra, Live in Canberra and the Land Development Agency.
