If you're aged between 18 and 35 years and have a great idea that will help boost Australia's agriculture, fisheries or forestry industries, then start working on your application now!

There are 13 Industry Award categories open, including:

  • animal welfare
  • emerging and niche rural industries
  • fisheries and aquaculture
  • viticulture.

Winning applicants can apply for a grant of up to $20 000 to be used for their nominated project within a 12 month period.

In addition, one overall winner will be chosen to receive the inaugural Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s Award, valued at up to $30 000, in addition to the Industry Award grant.
