Are you a primary producer who is being adversely affected by the impacts of climate change? Then the Government's FarmReady scheme could help you.
FarmReady provides those in the farming, fisheries and forestry sectors with reimbursements of up to $1 500 per year to attend approved training courses on how to boost productivity and adapt to climate change. Industry grants of up to $80 000 are also available to eligible groups to develop skills and strategies in response to the impacts of climate change.
FarmReady reimbursement grants are not means tested and are available nationally to the farming, fishing and forestry sectors, their immediate family members, management staff and Indigenous land managers.
For more information go to FarmReady's website or phone 1800 087 670.
