To assist visa holders and organisations understand worker entitlements, The Department of Immigration and Citizenship has launched Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO), a visa checking service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
VEVO allows registered Australian organisations to check a person's Australian immigration status, as well as lodge a visa online and check the status of an application on behalf of a worker.
Check your organisation's eligibility and register for the service at the Immigration website .
