ACT businesses are invited to provide feedback on proposed changes to workplace safety regulations. The Work Safety Act 2008 will come into effect on 1 October 2009 and will replace the existing Occupational Health and Safety Act 1989.
The changes include new work safety regulations and will include additional detail on:

licensing high risk work

manual tasks at work.
