Funding has been awarded to successful Business Enterprise Centres (BECs) and registered business organisation applicants through the Small Business Advisory Services (SBAS) program, to increase their capacity to provide business advisory services to small businesses affected by the current global financial crisis.

The increased funding will allow these successful organisations to provide further assistance in areas such as:

  • advice on loans and banking products
  • business planning advice
  • development of simple marketing plans
  • assistance accessing legal and accounting services
  • leasing guidance
  • advice on government regulation
  • mentoring for business.

To find out what services are available for you from your local BEC or registered business organisation, visit the AusIndustry  website.
