Applications are now open for WorkCover’s 2009 mentor program. If you own a small business this is your opportunity to gain free one-on-one advice and assistance from a large business in your industry.
The program is free and provides small businesses with advice and practical assistance with occupational health and safety, workers compensation and injury management practices from a large business (mentor) in the same industry.
The program is open to small businesses in:

construction
-
manufacturing
-
retail
-
consumer services
-
transport
-
community services
-
agriculture industries.
Places are limited with only 120 small business spots available. Expression of interest is also being sought from large companies to mentor small businesses.
