More than one million people in Australia experience depression or a related mental illness. Each year, undiagnosed depression costs Australian workplaces $4.3 billion in lost productivity.

beyondblue’s National Workplace Program may help you and your staff to understand depression and minimise impact on the workplace and the individual.

The National Workplace Program aims to help managers and employees:

  • recognise the common signs of depression in the workplace
  • intervene early to assist colleagues to get the help they may require
  • manage the individual effectively in the team environment.
