New South Wales small businesses that consume up to $20 000 in electricity per year can now apply for the Energy Efficiency for Small Business program, which was introduced to conserve energy and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

Being a part of the program provides small businesses with:

  • a subsidised, personalised energy assessment and action plan
  • a financial rebate of up to 50% for businesses that use $5 000 - $20 000 a year and $2 000 for businesses that use less than $5 000 a year in electricity.

For more information about the program and to find out if you are eligible, visit the NSW Small Business  website.
