Do you employ an Australian Apprentice? Then you may be eligible to apply for the Minister’s Awards for Excellence for Employers of Australian Apprentices. The Awards recognise and reward organisations and individuals who make an outstanding contribution towards the training of Australian Apprentices.
There are 22 Australian Apprenticeships Support Services regions across Australia and one winner will be selected for each region.
Eligible employers are those who have employed an Australian Apprentice (apprentice or trainee) between 1 January 2009 and 31 January 2010. Group Training Organisations are ineligible, however, Host Employers can apply. Winners of the 2009 Minister’s Awards for Excellence are also ineligible to enter the 2010 Awards.
