The Small Business Support Line has celebrated its 20 000th call following its recent first birthday. Its popularity amongst small business owners is accredited to its ability to act as a one-stop shop for advice, referrals and support on a variety of business topics, including:
- finance and cash flow management
- marketing and promotion, and
- business planning and diagnostic services.
As well as providing support to those establishing or running a business, the Support Line is responsible for the Small Business Credit Complaints Clearing House. This service provides an avenue for small businesses to direct their issues about access to and the cost of bank finance.
The Support Line is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time), Monday to Friday. It is closed on Australian National Public Holidays .
