The Next Generation Technologies Fund (NGTF) seeks proposals from industry and academia on:

‘How you can contribute to the research objectives on Defence in Cyber?’

Selection criteria

Your submission should answer these selection criteria:

  • alignment to Defence strategy and the example projects (see below)
  • future science criticality
  • collaboration depth (the amount of collaboration proposed among universities, industry, Defence Science and Technology and other Government organisations)
  • delivery of outcomes (the ability of the proposers to deliver the agreed outcomes and milestones)
  • leap ahead potential for Defence

Example projects

Send in your submission taking into account selection criteria and example projects:

  • Cyber Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy
  • the Human Element
  • Trustworthy & Resilient Systems
  • Situational Awareness
  • Mission Assurance
  • Threat Countermeasures and Effects

Application process

There is a two-stage selection process:

     Stage one - 500 word statement addressing the selection criteria.

     Stage Two – shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit further details.

Current and new collaborations with Defence Science and Technology, universities and industry are encouraged.
