The Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS) provides business advice and workshops for businesses in Victoria, to help them build and develop sustainable businesses.

They use local business advisers who understand the challenges small businesses face in Victoria.

The advisers have a range of skills and expertise across a variety of industries.

The SBMS aims to assist new and existing businesses through a range of low-cost advisory services such as:

  • creating a business plan
  • growing your business
  • accessing and monitoring finances
  • marketing your business
  • learning how to effectively manage your staff.

The SBMS also offers a range of other services including free online resources and access to a variety of events.
