Agricultural Trade and Market Access Cooperation (ATMAC)

Agricultural Trade and Market Access Cooperation provides organisations with funding to undertake projects which open, improve and/or maintain access to overseas markets for Australian agricultural products.

What do you get?

Funding of between $20,000 and $400,000.

Who is this for?

Large industries and agricultural producers.


This program aims to modernise agricultural trade and grow Australia's agricultural exports by building stronger relationships with trading partners, neighbouring countries and international organisations.

Eligible project activities may include:

  • research and development projects
  • training programs
  • practical demonstration activities
  • supporting delegation visits, missions or technical exchanges
  • attending relevant conferences, workshops and forums
  • working groups
  • feasibility studies

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement with the Commonwealth
  • have an account with an Australian financial institution
  • request project funding of at least $20,000 (GST exclusive)
