Tours may consist of a range of different Australian contemporary music styles. They must include performances in at least three venues outside of the performer's hometown and also at least one performance in a non-metropolitan area.

Funding of up to $15,000 is available for artists and their managers for tours in Australia that include performances in regional and remote areas.  Up to an additional $15,000 can be requested for tours that meet the conditions for remote and very remote touring.
