Overview

If you need to provide bonds (or guarantees) as part of a contract and your bank is unable to provide a bond or requires security you are unable to provide, Export Finance Australia may be able to help you.

The types of bonds available include:

  • advance payment bonds
  • performance bonds
  • warranty bonds
  • US Surety bonds

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • have an annual revenue of over $250,000 last financial year
  • have been established for at least two years
  • be unable to get financing from your bank
  • be an Australian registered company with an Australian Company Number (ACN)

The bond facility must be used to:

  • finance export purchase order(s) for the export of Australian goods and / or services from Australia
  • finance an export-related purchase order or contract that is part of an export-related supply chain
