What do you get?

Funding varies on a case-by-case basis.

Who is this for?

Victorian farmers, growers, processors and manufacturers.

Overview

Food Source Victoria Planning Grants provides funding to help farmers, processors and manufacturers work together to grow their businesses. Projects may involve other supply chain partners to develop ideas about how to add value to agricultural produce sourced from regional Victoria.

Funding may be used to:

  • engage independent skilled advisers to test the feasibility of proposed ideas
  • explore growth opportunities, and
  • develop a Growth Plan with clear actions

Projects that add value to agricultural produce sourced from regional Victoria and build stronger agri-businesses and regional communities will be viewed most favourably.

There is no limit to the amount of funding you can apply for, though you must match at least one third of your total project cost (2:1 funding ratio).

Once you have a suitable Growth Plan, you will also get the opportunity to apply for a Growth Grant to implement the actions from your plan.

What are the eligibility criteria?
