Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned tourism businesses.

Overview

This program supports the development of new and enhanced high-quality Indigenous tourism products and experiences that will encourage high-value travellers to visit Queensland.

There are 2 project funding categories:

  • Develop: to progress the development of a concept for an Indigenous tourism product or experience (funding of up to $25,000)
  • Deliver: to enhance Indigenous tourism by enhancing or delivering a product or experience, or improving/developing built infrastructure and facilities (matched funding of between $250,000 and $1 million)

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, your organisation must meet all of the following:

  • be an Indigenous tourism business or council
  • be a legal entity, have an Australian business number (ABN) and be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • adhere to any relevant requirements under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006
  • be based in Queensland
