The Playing Queensland Fund provides funding for tour-ready artists and performing arts organisations to help them with the costs of touring regional Queensland.

Overview
The Playing Queensland Fund supports the delivery of performing and visual arts projects that are ready to tour and have a strong public demand in regional Queensland communities.
There are 4 funding streams available:
- Performing Arts Touring - Individuals and Small-to-Medium Sector
- Performing Arts Touring - Major performing Arts Organisations
- Visual Arts Touring
- Arts and Education
Funding is only available for for net touring costs, including but not limited to:
- accommodation
- artists fees
- travel
- transport costs
- freight and associated costs
- exhibition installation and dismantling costs
- vehicle and equipment hire
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be based in Queensland
- demonstrate that the touring product is from Queensland
- over 18 years of age, or have a legal guardian co-sign
- satisfy the reporting requirements of any previous Arts Queensland funding
- demonstrate how this tour differs from what your organisation is currently funded to deliver (only relevant for organisations receiving Arts Queensland investment)
- include at least 2 regional Queensland communities in the proposal
- hold current public liability insurance that meets the requirements of the tour an its venues (minimum $10 million)
