Queensland organisations running events and activities during SBWQ 2019.

Overview

Small Business Week Grants Program provides funding to eligible organisations running events and activities during SBWQ 2019.

The event or activity you intend to host should support:

  • rural / regional small businesses
  • social enterprises
  • small business skills development
  • priority sectors (agriculture, construction industry, professional services)
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses
  • young people in business (under 30 year-olds who are business intenders, entrepreneurs or running their own small business)
  • women in business

Funding may be used for the purchase of events related costs, including:

  • venue hire
  • consultants or business coaches
  • equipment hire
  • catering (no alcohol)
  • speaker / entertainment fees, speaker travel costs etc

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • hold an event / activity during SBWQ 2019
  • have Queensland headquarters / residency
  • where necessary, have public liability insurance of at least $10 million
  • not be insolvent or have owners / directors that are an undischarged bankrupt
