The Traceability Grants Program provides organisations with funding to undertake projects which aim to enhance supply chain traceability systems and arrangements that support the export of agricultural products.

Who is this for?

Organisations looking to undertake projects to improve the traceability of agricultural products.

Overview

The program aims to support projects that:

  • improve agricultural suppy chain traceability systems, including developing and trialling technologies that digitise information flow
  • provide an advantage for exporters in overseas markets to assist them in maintaining their competitive edge
  • increase opportunities to export Australian commodities

Eligible project activities may include:

  • investigation of options to demonstrate the provenance of Australian agricultural commodities
  • development of requirements around traceability data collected along supply chains
  • detailing commodity supply chains
  • investigation of technologies that enable real time or passive tracing of various commodities through the supply chain
  • investigation of innovative solutions to collect and store data that can be used to trace and/or track commodities through supply chains

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • have a current Australian business number (ABN) or be willing to obtain one
  • be registered for GST, or be willing to become registered
  • have an account with an Australian financial institution
