Provides eligible WA individuals or organisations with funding of between $5,000 and $40,000 to develop and run small public events in regional areas of WA that will showcase local communities and increase tourism.

At a minimum, you must:

  • be an individual or organisation hosting a small public event in regional WA.

Overview

Regional Events Scheme WA assist with the development of events as tourist attractions within regional Western Australia. The scheme provides annual funding for smaller regional events in WA that:

  • attract media coverage and additional tourism income to regional communities
  • extend the length of the traditional tourist seasons and better utilise tourism facilities and services during off-peak or shoulder periods
  • involve and inspire the local community and improve the vibrancy and vitality of the state.

Funding of between $5,000 and $40,000 is available.
