Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must have:

  • a comprehensive understanding of an industry and / or regional economy and workforce
  • strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure a successful project outcome

  • Open

The Communities Environment Program provides each of the 151 electorates across Australia with up to $150,000 to fund small, community-led environment projects that address local environmental priorities. In consultation with their community, each Federal Member of Parliament must identify potential applicants and projects in their electorate and invite them to apply for a grant.

At a minimum, you must:

  • be invited to apply by your local MP
  • have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • be one of the eligible incorporated entities listed in section 4.1 of the grant opportunity guidelines

The Stronger Communities Programme provides each of the 151 federal electorates with up to $150,000 to fund small capital projects that improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant and viable communities. Apprentices and Trainees Payroll Tax Rebate TAS

Provides TAS employers with a payroll tax rebate on wages paid to eligible apprentices, trainees and youth employees.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • have lodged your employees returns and paid their payroll tax by the due date to be eligible for the rebate for the same period
  • be employing an apprentice or trainee as defined under the Training and Workforce Development Act 2013

  • be a for-profit, registered company operating in Australia
  • be a commercialisation office or eligible partner entity, or
  • be an individual, partnership or trustee who agrees to form a for-profit company
