Local Capability Fund - Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS Round)

  • Open

Provides small to medium Western Australian businesses with funding of up to $20,000 (excluding GST) to improve their competitiveness and better prepare them to win State and local Government supply contracts.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must have:

  • an Australian Business Number (ABN) or an Australian Company Number (ACN)
  • operating facilities based in Western Australia, and will continue to be based in Western Australia for the next 12 months
  • a turnover between $250,000 and $100 million.

  • purchase an energy efficient product from a Tasmanian retailer.

Who can apply:

  • hire new full-time employees whose jobs will be mainly performed in NSW.

Provides businesses with 19 or fewer employees with a grant of up to $2,100 for a certified small business cyber security health check to determine business risk and areas that need attention.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • have a certified small business health check undertaken by a certified CREST approved provider
  • have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • be registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  • employ 19 or fewer full-time equivalent employees
  • and be one of the following:
    • an entity incorporated in Australia
    • a partnership
    • a sole trader.
