Victoria Israel Science Innovation and Technology Scheme (VISITS)

  • Open

Provides businesses and organisations in Victoria with funding of up to $250,000 to work with Israeli organisations on projects of mutual benefit.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • be a for-profit entity and have your registered office and principal place of business located in Victoria
  • not currently be involved in litigation against the State Government of Victoria
  • have an interest in
    • medical technologies and pharmaceuticals
    • new energy technologies
    • food and fibre
    • transport, defence and construction technologies
    • international education
    • professional services.

Trade Mission Program

  • Open

Provides businesses in Victoria with funding of up to $3,000 to help with the costs of attending overseas trade missions to maximise their export potential and access to international markets.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • be headquartered in Victoria or be able to demonstrate significant contribution to Victoria's exports and jobs
  • be financially viable
  • be currently exporting or demonstrate export readiness.

Local Industry Fund for Transition

  • Open

Provides businesses affected by the closure of car manufacturers in Victoria with funding of up to $2 million to cover up to 25% of costs for eligible projects to find new markets and create new jobs.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • have an Australian Company Number (ACN) and an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • be based in Victoria have the ability to meet the required co-contribution ($3 for every $1 of funding).

Future Industries Sector Growth Program

  • Open

Provides consortiums of two or more organisations with funding of up to $1 million to cover up to 50% of costs for projects which will create new jobs and help Victorian businesses grow.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • be a group of two or more organisations, including a lead organisation based in Victoria
  • include at least one small to medium enterprise that employs up to 200 full time equivalent employees
  • be able to match the grant funding dollar for dollar.

Future Industries Manufacturing Program

  • Open

Provides manufacturing companies in Victoria with funding of up to $500,000 to implement new manufacturing technologies and processes.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • have an Australian Company Number (ACN)
  • be a business that is investing in its Victorian manufacturing operations.

Emissions Reduction Fund

  • Open

Provides businesses with the opportunity to earn Australian carbon credit units (ACCUs) for every tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent a business stores or avoids emitting through projects which adopt new practices and technologies. The ACCUs can be sold to generate income.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, your project must:

  • not have started before it's registered
  • not be a requirement under Australian law
  • not be carried out another government programme.

Duty Drawback Scheme

  • Open

Provides exporters a refund of customs duty paid on unused imported goods, or goods that will be treated, processed or incorporated into other goods for export.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • be the legal owner of the goods at the time the goods are exported
  • have paid customs duty on imported goods
  • export the goods from Australia.

Provides Catholic and independent schools with appropriate funding to help improve school infrastructure through capital expenditure.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • be a non-government primary or secondary school
  • be a member of the relevant state or territory's Block Grant Authority
  • satisfy the Minister that financial assistance is needed and contributes to the objectives of the Capital Grants Program.

Provides employers with funding of between $750 and $4,000 to employ an apprentice.

Who can apply:

At a minimum, you must:

  • employ an Australian apprentice at Certificate II, III, IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma level
  • have a training contract with your apprentice.
