Emergency Bushfire Response in Primary Industries Grants QLD
The Emergency Bushfire Response in Primary Industries Grants provide eligible bushfire-affected primary producers with funding to help with clean-up, reinstatement activities and emergency measures.

Funding of up to $75,000.
Who is this for?
Primary producers affected by the 2019/20 bushfires in a defined disaster area.
Overview
Primary producers affected by the Queensland bushfires, September - December 2019, can apply for funding to go towards clean-up, reinstatement activities, restoration work and emergency measures.
The grant can go towards:
- equipment and materials used in clean-ups
- additional labour costs
- disposing of damaged goods and injured or dead livestock
- repairs to buildings (other than housing)
- fencing repairs
- replacing or repairing essential equipment
- salvaging crops
- treating livestock, poultry and aquaculture species
- buying fodder, grain and feeds for livestock and poultry
- purchasing or hiring equipment used to immediately resume business
- replacing essential water used for firefighting
- water cartage
- safety inspections
Funding cannot be used to repair damage:
- to residential properties
- covered under existing insurance policies
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must:
- be a primary producer
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be located in a defined disaster area
- earn more than 50% of your income from primary production
- spend part of your labour on primary production
- have been carrying on your business at the time of the fires
