Funding to undertake exploration drilling programs in the Northern Territory

Overview

This program provides co-funding for drilling and geophysical acquisition projects that will improve geological knowledge in greenfields and brownfields areas in the Northern Territory.

Co-funding assistance is available for up to half of the eligible direct program costs and  varies depending on the project being undertaken.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• be conducting exploration drilling and geophysics in underexplored areas of the Northern Territory
• prove financial and technical capacity
• hold public liability insurance.
