Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund VIC

The Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund provides funding to hospitality businesses to help them survive the extended period of trading restrictions.


What do you get?

Funding of between $15,000 and $30,000 for businesses in metropolitan Melbourne.

Funding of between $10,000 and $25,000 for businesses in regional Victoria.

Who is this for?

Victorian hospitality businesses.


Funding is available to support liquor licensees who operate pubs, clubs, hotels, cafes, bars, restaurants and reception centres to help them survive through ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.

Grants may be used to:

  • meet business costs, including utilities, salaries or rent
  • seek financial, legal or other advice to support business continuity planning
  • develop the business through marketing and communications activities
  • help with any other supporting activities related to the operation of the business.

Grant amounts vary depending on the location of the premise and maximum patron capacity.

Those eligible will receive an invitation to apply from Business Victoria at the email address linked to their Liquor Portal account.
