Co-funding for Manufacturers provides manufacturing businesses with matched funding to help them improve their energy efficiency and manufacturing processes.

Funding of up to $70,000.

Who is this for?

NSW manufacturing or cotton ginning businesses.

Overview

There are 2 funding streams available:

Metering and process optimisation

  • up to $50,000 of matched funding
  • install or upgrade energy metering and monitoring systems, including but not limited to
    • install metering and using data analysis to identify faulty equipment
    • install sensors and controls to improve combustion efficiency
    • fine-tune equipment so it operates more efficiently

Equipment upgrades

  • up to $70,000 of matched funding
  • install or upgrade to more energy efficient equipment, including but not limited to
    •     upgrading boiler or chiller
    •     modifying a compressed air system
    •     switching fuels or electrifying equipment
    •     installing a heat recovery unit

Applications are limited to 1 offer per site.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • have an Australian business number (ABN) and be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • undertake manufacturing activities (according to the Manufacturing Division of the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification 2006) or cotton ginning in NSW
