Package Assisting Small Exporters
The Package Assisting Small Exporters provides funding to organisations and individuals for projects that support small exporters exporting dairy, fish, eggs, grain, plant, horticulture, meat and animal products.
What do you get?
There is no minimum or maximum grant but grants cannot exceed the amount of available funds.
Who is this for?
Organisations and businesses with projects that will support small agribusinesses to export their products.
Overview
Funding is available for projects which assist small agricultural exporters to overcome barriers to export their products.
Eligible projects may include, but are not limited to:
- development of systems to meet standards required by regulators and customers
- market intelligence to allow small exporters to target or tailor their product
- implementation of systems to perform procedural and administrative functions essential to exporting products
- development of innovative solutions to address technical barriers to market access
Applicants must be involved in one or more of the following sectors:
- dairy
- eggs/fish
- grain and plant products
- horticulture
- meat and animal products
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must:
- be a legal entity with an Australian business number (ABN)
- have an account with an Australian financial institution
- be capable of entering into a legally binding and enforceable deed with the Commonwealth
Grant recipients will not be limited to small exporters but projects must be primarily for the benefit of small exporters.
