Queensland Arts Showcase Program
The Queensland Arts Showcase Program provides funding to individuals, organisations and collectives to help them deliver arts and cultural experiences.
Applications may be made at any time.
What do you get?
One-off grants of up to $30,000 (sole-funding) and up to $60,000 (co-funding).
Who is this for?
Queensland individuals, organisations, and collectives.
Overview
The program offers 3 streams of funding:
Arts Accelerate
Funding for new works that:
- stimulate sector recovery with a focus on demonstrated track record of presenting work in a venue
- create new employment opportunities and/or cultivate new and emerging talent
- extend artists’ and/or organisations’ practice, audiences and market
Arts Activate
Funding for diverse arts and cultural initiatives in Queensland that:
- create new employment opportunities
- develop and implement new programs that deliver social benefit outcomes to communities
- contribute to the activation of community and cultural infrastructure, including digital infrastructure
Arts Advantage
Funding for arts-led projects which provide social benefits to Queenslanders across community sectors including health, youth justice, aged care, disability, education and early childhood that:
- create new employment opportunities
- develop and implement new programs that deliver social benefit outcomes to communities
- collaborate with government, business and not-for-profit agencies
Across all 3 streams, up to $3000 of the allocated funding may be used for equipment purchases that directly relate to the creation and delivery of the funded project.
What are the eligibility criteria?
An organisation/group must:
- have an active Australian business number (ABN)
- have a bank account in the name of the applicant
An individual must:
- have an active Australian business number (ABN)
- have a bank account in the name of the applicant
- by over 18 years or have the application co-signed by their legal guardian
An auspicing body must:
- have an active Australian business number (ABN)
- have a bank account in the name of the applicant
- be a small to medium arts/cultural organisation previously funded by Arts Queensland since 1 January 2019
All eligible applications must:
- be submitted by a Queensland based individual, organisation or group; or show evidence as to how the activity will directly benefit Queensland arts and culture
- where applicable, show evidence of demand and support for activities that involve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- demonstrate the project can be completed within 12 months from approval
