The Small-Scale and Craft Program provides small-scale and craft producers with funding for projects that help expand and grow their business.

Matched funding of up to $15,000.

Who is this for?

Victorian small-scale and craft agribusinesses.


Funding is available to help Victorian small-scale and craft agribusinesses scale-up operations, diversify product lines and expand their outreach.

Grant funding may be used for the following types of projects:

  • purchase of new equipment or small-scale infrastructure (including signage)
  • technology adoption, however, training, and on-going maintenance and service support costs are excluded
  • expansion into new markets, including market development strategies and export support
  • brand development (including graphic design)
  • product diversification

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible you must:

  • have a current Australian business number (ABN)
  • be registered as a business in Victoria
  • have a Victorian business address
  • operate a small/micro agribusiness within the small-scale and craft sector, however, a subsidiary of a larger firm cannot apply
  • be a legal entity
  • be able to meet the minimum 50% cash co-contribution

Businesses that have previously received a Small-Scale and Craft Program Stream One grant under this program, are not eligible to apply.
