The Business Research and Innovation Initiative supports your business develop innovative solutions to public policy and service delivery challenges. This round focuses on regulatory technology (RegTech) which uses digital technologies to streamline or enhance compliance for businesses or individuals, and administration for government.

What do you get?

Grants from $50,000 to $100,000 for regulatory technology project feasibility studies. If your feasibility study is successful, you may receive up to $1 million to develop a proof of concept. 

Who is this for?

Small to medium enterprises with a regulatory technology project.

Overview

We are seeking innovative solutions to reduce regulatory burden processes and increase the adoption of regulatory technologies (RegTech) across industry and government. RegTech will streamline or enhance compliance for businesses, individuals, and administration for government.

RegTech challenges will support making compliance with regulation simple and support businesses to grow, with a great potential to reduce regulatory burden across particular sectors.
