Have your say on the discussion paper.
We’re evaluating country origin labelling for food and seeking your input to know how effective the new labels have been.
The review aims to:
- improve consumer access to origin information for food
- clarify what origin claims businesses can make
- do this without imposing excessive costs on businesses
Throughout the evaluation process, there will be a range of consultations, including:
- a discussion paper
- online surveys
- consumer focus groups
- interviews business and government
The review is expected to be completed in June 2021.
