Last Updated: 25 March 2021
The independent review is now underway and we want to know if the Ombudsman has provided effective and efficient assistance and advocacy for Australian small businesses.
The independent review of the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) is now underway and we’re keen to hear from:
- business owners who have had direct experience with receiving ASBFEO services
- small business owners
- business organisation
- peak representative body
Why is there a review?
The review will look at how effectively and efficiently the Ombudsman has provided assistance and advocacy for Australian small businesses.
The review will also consider:
- how the Ombudsman has responded to the recommendations of the 2017 Review including delivery of new functions since that time
- the need for any legislative or administrative improvements to support the Ombudsman
The review is a statutory requirement, due to be completed every 4 years under the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Act 2015.
