High Growth Accelerator
The High Growth Accelerator service provides access to an independent facilitator for up to 2 years. They’ll work with you to develop a growth plan to help you realise an Australian and/or overseas growth opportunity. They’ll then mentor you as you action your plan.
You can apply at any time.
What do you get?
A customised growth plan and access to a facilitator who will assist with your growth opportunity for up to 2 years. You'll also have the opportunity to then apply for funding to action the facilitator's recommendations.
Who is this for?
A business operating in a specified growth sector.
Overview
High Growth Accelerator is a service offered through the Entrepreneurs’ Programme to help your business grow.
The Entrepreneurs' Programme provides access to a national network of experienced facilitators. They will work with you to improve your business practices, become more competitive, and take advantage of growth opportunities.
With High Growth Accelerator you’ll get access to a specialist facilitator who will:
- provide you access to relevant advice, networks, funding and knowledge
- provide support, advice and mentoring
- help you build the necessary capabilities, culture, strategies and connections for growth
- develop a growth plan to reach your Australian and/or overseas growth opportunity
- maintain your growth momentum through regular follow-up meetings
Once you’ve received your growth plan, you may be eligible for a Growth Grant. This grant will help you fund the recommendations in your action plan.
Eligibility
What are the eligibility criteria?
You must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- have filed business activity statements showing ongoing trading in Australia, for at least 3 consecutive years
- have the intent and opportunity to engage in or increase trade in Australian or overseas markets
Your business must also be one of the following:
- an incorporated company
- an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust
Your annual turnover or operating expenditure, in the current or one of the two past financial years, must be either:
- between $1.5 million and $100 million
- between $750,000 and $100 million if you’re located in remote Australia or northern Australia
You must also meet one of the following:
- be already operating in one or more specified growth sectors
- have intent and ability to operate in a specified growth sector
- provide enabling technologies or services to a specified growth sector
High Growth Accelerator supports high growth or high growth potential businesses who have a growth opportunity. Your growth opportunity must lead to transformational growth. It will usually be associated with new or innovated:
- products
- services
- markets
- market delivery
- business model
- technology
We don’t consider business as usual or incremental growth as an opportunity for this service.
If you think this service is not right for you, Growth Roadmap may be a better alternative. This broad focus service is an excellent way to gain a clearer picture of your business. It will give you a strategy to make you more productive and more competitive.
