Overview

The Queensland METS Collaborative Projects Fund is intended to drive collaboration between Queensland METS companies, global suppliers, mine operators, research organisations and capital providers to support the improved productivity, competitiveness and innovative capacity of the Australian METS and mining sectors.

Projects must be collaborative and industry-led with clear commercialisation applications for an innovative product or service.

Projects that address the following opportunities are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • digital and data analytics
  • automation & robotics
  • tailings and mine affected water

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, consortiums must:

  • have at least 3 METS companies involved
  • have at least one of the METS companies in the consortium conducting commercial activities in Queensland
  • provide cash contributions as required
